Located at 77 King Street West, Stoney Creek, Ontario, this National Historic Site is nestled under the scenic Niagara Escarpment. The museum is situated on 32 acres of parkland, featuring the historic Gage House, built in 1796, and the Nash-Jackson House. The site commemorates the pivotal Battle of Stoney Creek, fought on June 6, 1813, during the War of 1812. A 100-foot-high monument stands as a symbol of peace, honoring those who died in the battle.
Visitors can enjoy guided tours, annual re-enactments of the battle, and explore the surrounding parkland, which includes trails and a creek. The site offers a glimpse into early 19th-century life and Canadian history.
